Today, ASIC and APRA have issued a joint letter to RSE licensees in relation to the member outcome obligations and the DDOs to assist RSE licensees better understand the way in which these obligations interact. The letter reminds RSE licensees that MO obligations and the DDOs are complementary. The regulators make clear that when considering the implementation of both regimes RSE licensees should consider opportunities that drive efficiencies and “learnings”. APRA and ASIC will continue to engage with industry on the interaction between the two regimes.
A copy of the letter can be found here.
